Dorcas Gazelle
The Dorcas Gazelle is a small species of gazelle found primarily in the arid regions of North Africa and parts of the Middle East. It is characterized by its slender body, long legs, and distinctive curved horns, which are present in males. The coat is typically light brown with white underparts, helping it blend into its desert surroundings.
These gazelles are well-adapted to their environment, able to survive with little water by obtaining moisture from the plants they eat. They are social animals, often found in small herds, and are known for their agility and speed, which help them evade predators like cheetahs and lions.
