Mongolian Altai
The Mongolian Altai is a mountain range located in western Mongolia, part of the larger Altai Mountains system. It stretches approximately 600 kilometers and features some of the highest peaks in Mongolia, including Khuiten Peak, which rises to 4,374 meters. The region is known for its stunning landscapes, including glaciers, alpine meadows, and diverse wildlife.
This area is also significant for its cultural heritage, home to various nomadic tribes, such as the Kazakh people, who practice traditional herding and hunting. The Mongolian Altai is a UNESCO World Heritage site, recognized for its unique natural beauty and rich biodiversity.
