Mong People
The Mong People, also known as the Hmong, are an ethnic group originally from the mountainous regions of China, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. They have a rich cultural heritage, characterized by vibrant traditional clothing, intricate embroidery, and unique customs. The Mong People are known for their agricultural practices, often cultivating rice and other crops in terraced fields.
Historically, the Mong People played a significant role during the Vietnam War, aligning with the United States against communist forces. Today, many Mong communities can be found in the United States and other countries, where they continue to preserve their traditions while adapting to new environments.
