Monarchist
A monarchist is someone who supports the idea of a monarchy as a form of government. In a monarchy, a single ruler, often a king or queen, holds significant power and authority, usually inherited through family lineage. Monarchists believe that this system can provide stability and continuity in leadership.
Monarchists may advocate for different types of monarchies, such as absolute monarchies, where the monarch has almost complete control, or constitutional monarchies, where the monarch's powers are limited by a constitution or laws. Countries like United Kingdom and Sweden are examples of constitutional monarchies, where the monarch's role is largely ceremonial.
