Monaco National Council
The Monaco National Council is the legislative body of the Principality of Monaco. It consists of 24 members who are elected for a five-year term. The council's primary role is to discuss and approve laws, as well as to oversee the government’s actions and budget.
The council operates within a constitutional framework, working alongside the Prince of Monaco and the Government of Monaco. It has the authority to propose legislation and is involved in various aspects of governance, ensuring that the interests of Monegasque citizens are represented in the decision-making process.
