Moldovan wines
Moldovan wines are produced in the Republic of Moldova, a country located in Eastern Europe. The region has a long history of winemaking, dating back over 5,000 years. Moldova's diverse climate and fertile soil contribute to the production of a variety of grape types, including Fetească Albă, Fetească Neagră, and Rara Neagră.
The country is known for its unique wine styles, including both red and white wines, as well as sweet and dry varieties. Moldova's wine industry has gained international recognition, with several wineries participating in global competitions. The Moldovan National Wine Day celebrates this rich winemaking heritage every October.
