Molar Teeth
Molar teeth are large, flat teeth located at the back of the mouth. They are designed for grinding and chewing food, making them essential for proper digestion. Adults typically have twelve molars, with three on each side of the upper and lower jaws.
These teeth have a broad surface with multiple cusps, which help break down food into smaller pieces. Molar teeth usually emerge in stages, with the first set appearing around age six and the last set, known as wisdom teeth, often coming in during late adolescence or early adulthood.
