Mohammed Emwazi
Mohammed Emwazi, also known as "Jihadi John," was a British-Kuwaiti man born in 1988 in Kuwait. He gained international notoriety for his role as a member of the extremist group ISIS, where he appeared in several videos depicting the beheadings of hostages. Emwazi was known for his distinctive British accent and was identified as a key figure in the group's propaganda efforts.
In 2015, Emwazi was targeted by U.S. and coalition forces, leading to his death in a drone strike in Raqqa, Syria. His actions and the videos he produced drew widespread condemnation and highlighted the global threat posed by ISIS and similar extremist organizations.
