Mohale Dam
The Mohale Dam is a significant water reservoir located in Lesotho, part of the country's water supply system. Completed in 2003, it is one of the key components of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, which aims to provide water to South Africa and generate hydroelectric power for Lesotho.
The dam is situated on the Mohale River and has a storage capacity of approximately 95 million cubic meters. It plays a crucial role in regulating water flow and supporting local agriculture, while also contributing to the region's economy through tourism and recreational activities.
