Mithridates IV
Mithridates IV was a king of the ancient kingdom of Pontus, located in what is now northern Turkey. He ruled during the 1st century BC and was part of the Mithridatic dynasty. His reign is noted for its challenges, including conflicts with the expanding Roman Republic.
Mithridates IV was the son of Mithridates III and succeeded him on the throne. His rule was marked by political instability and the struggle for power within the region. Ultimately, he was succeeded by his brother, Mithridates VI, who became one of the most famous kings of Pontus.
