Mishna
The Mishna is a foundational text of Rabbinic Judaism, compiled around 200 CE by Rabbi Judah the Prince. It organizes and codifies Jewish oral laws, covering various aspects of life, including religious practices, ethics, and civil law. The Mishna is divided into six orders, each containing multiple tractates that address specific topics.
As a key component of the Talmud, the Mishna serves as a basis for further discussion and interpretation by later scholars. Its teachings have significantly influenced Jewish law and tradition, making it essential for understanding the development of Jewish thought and practice throughout history.
