Minotauro
The Minotaur is a creature from Greek mythology, depicted as having the body of a man and the head of a bull. According to the myth, the Minotaur was born from the union of Pasiphaƫ, the wife of King Minos of Crete, and a majestic bull sent by the god Poseidon. The creature was kept in a labyrinth designed by the architect Daedalus to prevent it from escaping.
The Minotaur is famously known for its role in the story of Theseus, a hero who volunteered to enter the labyrinth to slay the beast. With the help of Ariadne, who provided him with a ball of thread to navigate the maze, Theseus successfully defeated the Minotaur and escaped, symbolizing the triumph of human courage over monstrous challenges.
