Ming dynasty
The Ming dynasty was a Chinese dynasty that ruled from 1368 to 1644. It was established after the fall of the Yuan dynasty and is known for its strong centralized government, cultural achievements, and economic prosperity. The dynasty is famous for its advancements in art, literature, and technology, as well as the construction of the Forbidden City in Beijing.
During the Ming dynasty, China expanded its trade networks and maritime exploration, notably through the voyages of Zheng He. The dynasty also saw the revival of Confucianism, which influenced education and governance. However, it eventually faced internal strife and external pressures, leading to its decline and the rise of the Qing dynasty.
