Michel Djotodia
Michel Djotodia is a Central African politician who served as the President of the Central African Republic from March 2013 to January 2014. He came to power after leading a rebel group known as the Seleka, which overthrew the previous government. Djotodia was the first Muslim president in a country that has a predominantly Christian population.
His presidency was marked by significant violence and instability, leading to widespread humanitarian crises. Djotodia eventually resigned under international pressure in January 2014, following a surge in sectarian violence between Seleka forces and Christian militias known as Anti-Balaka.
