Michael IX Palaiologos
Michael IX Palaiologos was a Byzantine emperor who ruled from 1294 to 1320. He was the son of Andronikos II Palaiologos and became co-emperor at a young age. His reign was marked by military challenges, particularly against the Ottoman Turks and the Serbian Empire.
