Mexican Leagues
The term "Mexican Leagues" primarily refers to the professional sports leagues in Mexico, most notably the Liga MX, which is the top division of Mexican football (soccer). Established in 1943, Liga MX features 18 teams competing for the championship each season. The league is known for its passionate fan base and has produced many talented players who have gone on to play internationally.
In addition to Liga MX, there are other leagues in Mexico, such as the Ascenso MX, which serves as the second division. These leagues play a crucial role in developing local talent and promoting the sport throughout the country, contributing to Mexico's rich sporting culture.
