Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was a professional football league in Mexico, serving as the second tier below the top division, Liga MX. Established in 2012, it aimed to provide a competitive platform for clubs aspiring to reach the highest level of Mexican football.
The league featured various teams that competed for promotion to Liga MX. However, in 2020, Ascenso MX was dissolved and replaced by a new league format called Liga de Expansión MX, which continues to support the development of football in Mexico while maintaining a pathway to the top division.
