Mexican Education System
The Mexican Education System is structured into three main levels: primary, secondary, and higher education. Primary education lasts for six years, followed by three years of secondary education. After completing these levels, students can pursue higher education at universities or technical institutes.
Education in Mexico is overseen by the Secretariat of Public Education, which establishes national standards and curricula. While public education is free and compulsory for the first nine years, there are also private institutions that offer various educational programs. The system aims to provide quality education and improve literacy rates across the country.
