Mevlana
Mevlana, also known as Rumi, was a 13th-century Persian poet, Islamic scholar, and Sufi mystic. He was born in 1207 in present-day Afghanistan and later settled in Konya, Turkey. His teachings emphasized love, tolerance, and the pursuit of spiritual truth, which have inspired millions around the world.
Mevlana is best known for his poetry, particularly the Masnavi, a six-volume work that explores themes of divine love and the human experience. His legacy continues through the Whirling Dervishes, a Sufi order that practices a form of meditation through dance, reflecting his teachings on the connection between the soul and the divine.
