Members of the Senedd (MSs)
Members of the Senedd (MSs) are elected representatives in Wales who serve in the Welsh Parliament. They are responsible for making laws, scrutinizing the government, and representing the interests of their constituents. Each MS is elected to represent a specific area, known as a constituency, and they can also represent broader regions.
The Senedd has 60 MSs, with 40 elected from constituencies and 20 from regional lists. MSs participate in debates, committees, and various legislative processes to address issues affecting Wales. Their work helps shape policies on health, education, and the economy, among other important areas.
