Mekke
Mekke, also known as Mecca, is a city in Saudi Arabia and is considered the holiest city in Islam. It is the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad and the site of the Kaaba, a cube-shaped structure located within the Masjid al-Haram mosque. Every year, millions of Muslims travel to Mekke to perform the Hajj, a pilgrimage that is one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
The city has a rich history and is a center of Islamic culture and education. In addition to the Hajj, Mekke is also a destination for the Umrah, a lesser pilgrimage that can be undertaken at any time of the year. The significance of Mekke in the Islamic faith makes it a focal point for Muslims worldwide.
