Maud of Wales
Maud of Wales was born in 1869 and was a member of the British royal family. She was the daughter of Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Princess Louise Margaret of Prussia. In 1896, she married Prince Henry of Battenberg, and they had three children together.
Maud became the Queen of Norway in 1905 when her husband was elected as king. She played a significant role in promoting Norwegian culture and strengthening ties between Norway and Britain. Maud passed away in 1938, leaving a legacy of royal service and dedication to her adopted country.
