Masai people
The Masai people are a semi-nomadic ethnic group primarily found in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. They are known for their distinctive customs, traditional dress, and vibrant beadwork. The Masai primarily rely on cattle herding for their livelihood, which plays a central role in their culture and social structure.
Traditionally, the Masai live in small, mobile communities called enkangs, where they build homes from mud and grass. Their society is organized around age sets, with different responsibilities assigned to various age groups. The Masai are also famous for their traditional dances and ceremonies, which reflect their rich cultural heritage.
