Mars 2020 Mission
The Mars 2020 Mission is a NASA space exploration project aimed at studying the surface of Mars. Launched on July 30, 2020, it carries the Perseverance rover, which is designed to search for signs of ancient life and collect rock and soil samples for future return to Earth. The mission also tests new technologies for future human exploration.
Another key component of the mission is the Ingenuity helicopter, which demonstrates powered flight in the thin Martian atmosphere. This small drone conducts aerial surveys, providing valuable data about the terrain and helping to plan the rover's routes. Together, these efforts enhance our understanding of the Red Planet.
