Maria Eleonora of Brandenburg was a German princess born on November 11, 1600. She was the daughter of George William, Elector of Brandenburg and Maria Anna of Hohenzollern. In 1620, she married Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, becoming Queen consort of Sweden.
