Margarete Buber-Neumann
Margarete Buber-Neumann was a German political activist and writer, born on June 21, 1901. She was known for her opposition to both the Nazi Party and the Soviet Union. After being imprisoned by the Nazis, she was later handed over to the Soviets, where she experienced further persecution.
