Mangifera
Mangifera is a genus of flowering plants in the family Anacardiaceae, primarily known for its most famous member, the mango (Mangifera indica). This genus includes around 40 species, many of which are native to tropical and subtropical regions of South and Southeast Asia.
Mangoes are widely cultivated for their sweet, juicy fruit, which is enjoyed fresh or used in various culinary dishes. The trees can grow quite large, reaching heights of up to 100 feet, and they thrive in warm climates with well-drained soil.
