Male Reproductive Cells
Male reproductive cells, known as sperm, are specialized cells responsible for fertilizing female eggs. Each sperm cell is produced in the testes through a process called spermatogenesis. These cells are typically small and motile, featuring a head that contains genetic material and a tail that propels them forward.
Sperm cells are released during ejaculation and travel through the male reproductive system to reach the female reproductive system. Upon reaching an egg, a sperm can penetrate its outer layer, leading to fertilization and the potential development of a new organism.
