Malaysian Royal Family
The Malaysian Royal Family consists of nine hereditary rulers from different states in Malaysia, each known as a Sultan. These rulers take turns serving as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the King of Malaysia, for a five-year term. The royal family plays a significant role in the cultural and ceremonial aspects of Malaysian society.
In addition to their ceremonial duties, the royal families are involved in various charitable activities and community initiatives. Each state has its own royal lineage, and the families often engage in traditional events, preserving Malaysia's rich heritage and promoting unity among its diverse population.
