Mak Dizdar
Mak Dizdar was a prominent Bosnian poet and writer, born on January 17, 1917, in the village of Pavlovac near Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is best known for his contributions to Bosnian literature and his role in the modernist movement. His poetry often reflects themes of nature, identity, and the cultural heritage of Bosnia.
Dizdar's most famous work is the collection titled Kameni spavač (The Stone Sleeper), published in 1966.
