Magnus II
Magnus II, also known as Magnus II of Norway, was a king who ruled during the early 13th century. He was born around 1207 and became king in 1263 after the death of his father, Håkon IV. His reign was marked by conflicts with Scotland and efforts to strengthen Norway's influence in the region.
During his rule, Magnus II faced challenges from rival factions and external threats. He is best known for his involvement in the Battle of Largs in 1263, which was part of the larger struggle for control over the Hebrides and Isle of Man. His reign ended with his death in 1280.
