Ma'di people
The Ma'di people are an ethnic group primarily found in the southern region of South Sudan and parts of Uganda. They speak the Ma'di language, which belongs to the Nilo-Saharan language family. Traditionally, the Ma'di are agriculturalists, cultivating crops such as millet and cassava, and they also engage in fishing and hunting.
Culturally, the Ma'di have rich traditions, including music, dance, and storytelling. They practice various forms of spirituality, often involving ancestral worship. The community is organized into clans, each with its own leadership and customs, which play a significant role in their social structure and identity.
