MV Panagiotis
The MV Panagiotis is a ship that became famous after it ran aground on the rocky shores of Smugglers Cove on the island of Zante (also known as Zakynthos) in Greece in 1980. The vessel was originally a freighter, and its wreck has since become a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors to the picturesque beach surrounded by steep cliffs.
The shipwreck is often photographed due to its striking contrast against the turquoise waters and white sands of the cove. Over the years, the MV Panagiotis has become a symbol of adventure and mystery, with various stories surrounding its cargo and the circumstances of its grounding.
