MINUSMA
The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali, known as MINUSMA, was established in 2013 to support the African nation in achieving peace and stability. Its primary objectives include protecting civilians, supporting the political process, and assisting in the reestablishment of state authority in the northern regions of Mali.
MINUSMA operates under a mandate that includes promoting human rights and facilitating humanitarian assistance. The mission involves military, police, and civilian personnel working together to address security challenges and foster development in a country affected by conflict and terrorism.
