Lyuben Karavelov
Lyuben Karavelov was a prominent Bulgarian writer, journalist, and revolutionary born on March 18, 1834, in the town of Koprivshtitsa. He played a significant role in the Bulgarian National Revival, advocating for social and political reforms through his literary works and activism.
Karavelov is best known for his contributions to Bulgarian literature, particularly his short stories and essays that highlighted the struggles of the Bulgarian people. He was also involved in the establishment of the Bulgarian National Library and worked to promote education and cultural development in Bulgaria until his death on January 23, 1879.
