Lyman Hall
Lyman Hall was an important figure in American history, known for being a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Born in 1724 in Connecticut, he later moved to Georgia, where he became a prominent physician and politician. Hall played a significant role in the American Revolution, advocating for independence from British rule.
In addition to his political contributions, Lyman Hall served as the governor of Georgia from 1783 to 1784. He was also involved in the establishment of the University of Georgia, which is the first state-chartered university in the United States.
