Ly Thai Tong
Ly Thai Tong was the second emperor of the Ly Dynasty in Vietnam, reigning from 1028 to 1054. He is known for consolidating the power of the monarchy and expanding the territory of Vietnam. His reign marked a period of stability and prosperity, with significant developments in agriculture and trade.
Under Ly Thai Tong, the Vietnamese capital was moved to Thang Long, which is present-day Hanoi. He also promoted Buddhism and Confucianism, fostering a culture of learning and governance. His leadership laid the foundation for future dynasties and contributed to the cultural identity of Vietnam.
