Lung Tumor
A lung tumor is an abnormal growth of cells in the lungs, which can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). These tumors can develop from lung tissue or spread from other parts of the body, a process known as metastasis. Symptoms may include persistent cough, chest pain, and difficulty breathing, but some tumors may not cause noticeable symptoms in the early stages.
Diagnosis typically involves imaging tests like X-rays or CT scans, followed by a biopsy to determine the nature of the tumor. Treatment options vary based on the type and stage of the tumor and may include surgery, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy.
