Luna 11
Luna 11 was a Soviet spacecraft launched on August 24, 1966, as part of the Luna program. Its primary mission was to study the Moon and gather data about its surface and environment. The spacecraft successfully entered lunar orbit and transmitted valuable information back to Earth.
The mission lasted until October 1976, during which Luna 11 provided insights into the Moon's gravitational field and surface composition. It contributed to the understanding of lunar geology and helped pave the way for future lunar exploration missions.
