Lucien Bonaparte
Lucien Bonaparte was a French politician and diplomat, born on May 21, 1775. He was the younger brother of Napoleon Bonaparte and played a significant role during the early years of the French Republic. Lucien served as a member of the Council of Five Hundred and was known for his eloquence and political acumen.
In 1799, Lucien supported his brother's coup that led to the establishment of the Consulate. He later held various diplomatic positions, including serving as the French ambassador to Spain. Despite his political influence, Lucien eventually distanced himself from Napoleon's regime and lived in exile for many years.
