Lower Sorbian
Lower Sorbian is a Slavic language spoken primarily in the region of Brandenburg, Germany. It is one of the two Sorbian languages, the other being Upper Sorbian. Lower Sorbian is used by a small community, mainly in the town of Cottbus and surrounding areas, and is recognized as a minority language in Germany.
The language has its own unique grammar and vocabulary, influenced by both Polish and German. Efforts are ongoing to preserve and promote Lower Sorbian through education and cultural initiatives, as the number of speakers has been declining over the years.
