Low Beams
Low beams are a type of vehicle headlight setting designed for use in normal driving conditions, especially at night or in low visibility situations. They provide a focused beam of light that illuminates the road directly in front of the vehicle without causing glare for oncoming drivers. This makes them ideal for city driving and when following other vehicles.
When using low beams, drivers should ensure they are properly adjusted to avoid blinding other road users. In many regions, traffic laws require drivers to switch to low beams when approaching another vehicle within a certain distance, typically 500 feet, to enhance safety on the road.
