Daytime Running Lights
Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) are lighting systems on vehicles designed to increase visibility during daylight hours. They automatically turn on when the vehicle is in operation, helping other drivers see the vehicle more easily. DRLs are typically less bright than standard headlights and are often located in the front of the vehicle.
The use of DRLs has been shown to reduce the risk of accidents, particularly in low-light conditions or during bad weather. Many countries have regulations requiring DRLs on new vehicles, and they are commonly found on cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
