Lord Guildford Dudley
Lord Guildford Dudley was an English nobleman born around 1535. He was the son of John Dudley, Duke of Northumberland and became known for his marriage to Lady Jane Grey, who was briefly queen of England in 1553. Guildford was a key figure during the political turmoil of the time, supporting his father's ambitions to place Jane on the throne.
After Lady Jane Grey's reign ended, Guildford was captured and executed in 1554. His death marked the end of the Dudley family's influence in English politics. Despite his short life, he remains a notable figure in the history of the Tudor period.
