Lord Charles FitzRoy
Lord Charles FitzRoy was a British politician and military officer born on December 28, 1815. He was the son of the 4th Duke of Grafton and served as a Member of Parliament for Bury St Edmunds from 1847 to 1852. FitzRoy was known for his involvement in various political matters during the mid-19th century.
In addition to his political career, FitzRoy held the rank of Major-General in the British Army. He was also appointed as the Governor of New South Wales from 1846 to 1855, where he played a significant role in the administration of the colony. FitzRoy passed away on June 24, 1858.
