Longonot Volcano
Longonot Volcano is an active stratovolcano located in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It rises about 2,776 meters (9,100 feet) above sea level and features a large caldera, which is approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) wide. The volcano last erupted in 1860, and its landscape is characterized by steep slopes and lush vegetation.
