Longhorn
The term "Longhorn" primarily refers to the breed of cattle known as Texas Longhorns. These cattle are characterized by their long, curved horns that can span up to seven feet. They are known for their hardiness and adaptability, thriving in various environments, particularly in the arid regions of the southwestern United States.
In addition to cattle, "Longhorn" is also associated with the University of Texas at Austin, whose sports teams are called the Longhorns. The university's mascot, Bevo, is a live Longhorn steer, symbolizing school spirit and pride during athletic events.
