Logistic Growth
Logistic growth describes a population's increase that starts rapidly but slows as it approaches a maximum limit, known as the carrying capacity. This model is often represented by an S-shaped curve, where the population grows quickly at first, then gradually levels off as resources become limited.
In nature, logistic growth can be observed in many species, such as deer in a forest. Initially, when resources are abundant, the deer population expands quickly. However, as food and space become scarce, the growth rate declines, stabilizing the population around the carrying capacity of the environment.
