Lobster Traps
Lobster traps are specialized fishing devices used to catch lobsters. They are typically made of wood or metal and are designed to attract and hold lobsters inside. The traps have openings that allow lobsters to enter but make it difficult for them to escape. Fishermen place bait, such as fish or other seafood, inside the traps to lure the lobsters.
Once the traps are set on the ocean floor, they are left for a period of time before being retrieved. The traps can vary in size and design, but they all serve the same purpose: to efficiently capture lobsters for commercial or recreational fishing.
