Emperor Guangwu
Emperor Guangwu, also known as Liu Xiu, was the founder of the Eastern Han Dynasty in China. He reigned from 25 to 57 AD and is credited with restoring stability after the fall of the Western Han Dynasty. His leadership helped to reunify the country and laid the groundwork for a prosperous era.
During his reign, Emperor Guangwu implemented various reforms to improve the economy and strengthen the central government. He promoted Confucianism as the state philosophy and worked to reduce corruption within the administration. His efforts contributed to a period of peace and growth known as the Han Golden Age.
